Technical Content Writer [Hybrid Role]
$30 - $35/hr.  Hybrid Opportunity (depending on experience)
South Loop West
Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

We’re searching for an experienced Technical Writer to join our client’s team and help take their client-focused services to new levels. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a highly technical field, web platforms, blogging, or computer science.   This role will evaluate and analyze complex information and a desire to create documentation and content people will understand. Enjoy working in this hybrid role.
 Technical Content Writer’s Duties:
  • Develop content for multiple platforms, such as print, web, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
  • Utilize industry best practices and healthcare style guide and mission statement to inspire ideas and content
  • Take existing and potential content and improve it
  • Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences
 Technical Content Writer’s General Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of writing experience
  •  Undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines 
  • Work independently with little or no daily supervision 
  • Possess excellent time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
  • Work in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Monday project management application skills preferred  
  •  In-depth knowledge of your product’s industry
  • User persona targeting, technical documentation essentials
  • Mastering the mode of communication
  • Knowledge of technical writing software tools
  • Basic graphic, research, and web design skills
  • Team player
  • Experience with knowledge base platforms, Document360, HTML Editor, FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and screen-capturing tools is a huge plus
