Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Lewisville, TX

Pay rate: $25-35/hour DOE

Wholesale bakery in Lewisville, Texas supporting major retail clients since 2001 with fresh baked donuts and muffins daily and packaged cookies and brownies. Knowledgeable Maintenance Mechanic needed to keep Production Equipment in running order. Come join the team!

• Working Knowledge of operating theory, such as:
  • Gearing
  • Levers
  • Sprockets
  • Bearings
  • Shafts
  • Compressed air systems and control sequencing
  • Lubrication
  • Positive repair techniques
• Knowledgeable in AC/DC fundamentals, read and interpret electrical schematics (high-voltage and control valves), ladder theory and logic, PLC working knowledge of time delays, program logic, logical loops, and control sequencing and motor control logic (fixed/variable speed drives)
• High School Diploma/GED (required)
• Three (3) years of experience in related field with knowledge and power transmission, pneumatics, electrical, hydraulics, and the like
• Priority attention to applicants with Food Manufacturing background

Schedule:

• FULL TIME only, some Overtime (Mandatory) 
• Must be available to work WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS: Sunday through Saturday 
  • Seven (7) Day regular weekly schedule with two days off each week
  • Two (2) Days Off (per week) are scheduled consecutively, when possible
  • 24-HR maintenance presence in building: Production Support, PMs, Equipment Repair
• Daily Schedule includes 2 PAID Breaks (10 min each) and 30 min. UNPAID Lunch

Transportation:

• Must have reliable transportation: Bus schedule not available for evening/weekend requirements

Other:

• Must have own toolbox (basic tools)
• Uniform required: Navy Blue pants/shirt, non-slip work boots
• All applicants MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN
• Safety gear provided: Eyewear, Hearing, Gloves, etc.
