Senior HR Generalist [Direct Hire]  
$75,000 - $80,000 | N. Sam Houston Parkway
Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Direct Hire
 
We have a wonderful direct hire opportunity for a Sr. HR Generalist for a growing and expanding Houston-based roofing company dedicated to providing homeowners with exceptional roof repairs, roof replacement, and roof maintenance located near North Sam Houston Parkway. As the company expands, this role will eventually grow into a manager or executive role overseeing others in the HR department. If you are a self-starter looking for an opportunity to grow and develop an HR department of approximately 30 staff members, apply today.
 As a Team Member, You Will:
  • Develop bonus structures programs incorporating KPIS for each position and department
  • Manage Payroll for all W2 and 1099 Contract Employees
  • Implement HR Policies
  • Develop cost-effective recruiting and screening strategies while making hiring recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company/site policies
  • Manage employee benefits, onboarding and terminations  
  • Develop strategies and tactics to address current issues and future staffing needs
  • Act as a liaison to an outsourced IT company
 Experience We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • 3rd-party payroll software knowledge (Paylocity- current)
  • Ability to lead and train team members
  • Onboarding, benefits and termination experience
  • Strong understanding of HR laws
