Client in South Central Houston seeking to fill 5 Health Plan Specialist positions. Position is temp to possible hire.Employees will have rotating shifts ranging from 8am to 8pm M-F and Saturday's from 8am to 1pm. JOB SUMMARY: The Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist is responsible for membership retention in all product lines offeredby the client. This position responds to inquiries from current and potential Community Health Choice members as well as appointed and potential brokers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -High School Diploma or GED -Life and Health license is an absolute requirement -1 year experience in Medicaid and CHIP, Health insurance, experience with nonprofit organization assisting low income population or customer service related, call center experience -Bilingual is preferred TYPICAL DUTIES THAT MAY BE PERFORMED: -Participate in telephonic and email marketing campaigns to build Client's membership growth and retention for all product lines, including but not limited to: Health Insurance Marketplace, STAR Medicaid, CHIP, and CHIP Perinatal. -The Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist is expected to adhere to their schedule to maximize idle and availability time. The IBCCHPS contributes to the Average Speed of Answer by being readily available to assist callers as calls are presented for appropriate call handling to the Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist. -Receive inbound calls to assist Members/potential Members with Recertification/ New Applications and handles agent
