HR Onboarding Coordinator

Job Description
- Manages the onboarding of new hires, including (but not limited to): credential verifications, background checks, references, and pre-hire drug & occupational health screens
- Prepares, reviews, and distributes offer letters, job descriptions, and other documentation related to personnel management
- Oversees and troubleshoots issues with all associated HRIS systems for candidates and hiring managers, as needed, and manual processes that may need tracking
- Follows up with newly hired employees and hiring managers when paperwork is missing or incomplete
- Maintains frequent correspondence with candidates, to prepare for their hire, and acts as a point of contact for support of the new hire during and after the onboarding process
- Attends staff meetings and participates as part of the recruitment team
- Treats all consumers/customers in a polite and professional manner
- Works to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires
- High School or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources
- Healthcare background preferred
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, to be able to succeed in a fast-paced
- HRIS knowledge
- Can handle multiple interruptions
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and productively,
- without supervision
- Excellent customer service, business writing, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
