Customer Service Level 1
$15/hr. | North Houston 
Contract to Hire
Monday - Friday 8 am – 5 pm
 
We are assisting our North Houston client to hire an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their customer service team. Your daily responsibilities include receiving orders, processing orders, entering order details in the system, and following up with orders and shipping status while maintaining customer relationships with high-volume accounts.   Customer Service’s General Duties:

  • Ensure products are available for shippingAnswer a high volume of customer service calls taking orders, general inquiries, and account resolution 
  • Answer a high volume of customer service calls taking orders, general inquiries, and account resolution
  • Support the sales team leader with special project requests or materials  
  • Enter order information regarding new order
  • Monitor, mentor, and oversee the Customer Service Team
  • Allocate inventory from all locations
  • Enter customer quotes into the system 
  • Track inventory levels and notify management of low levels 
  • Project order and reorder status, update caller and give ETA of receiving the product
  • Responsible for rush orders and ensuring that deadlines are met and shipped
  • Build relationships with customers/callers
  • Notify the CSR Team Lead of any issues, complaints or shipping issues
 Customer Service’s Required Skills: 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4 or more years of call center or experience with high-volume calls
  • Strong data entry skills including 20key (40 wpm+)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Organizational skills an ability to work in a team environment 
  • Experience the full cycle of the product ordering process
