Hospital system located in the med center has an opening for 3 Bilingual Health Plan Specialists. Position is now until and may extend past December. Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) is a requirement. Job Summary:The Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist is responsible for membership retention in all product lines offered.This position responds to inquiries from current and potential Community Health Choice members as well as appointed and potential brokers. Duties and Responsibilities: -Participate in telephonic and email marketing campaigns to build membership growth and retention for all product lines, including but not limited to:Health Insurance Marketplace, STAR Medicaid, CHIP, and CHIP Perinatal. -The Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist is expected to adhere to their schedule to maximize idle and availability time. The IBCCHPS contributes to the Average Speed of Answer by being readily available to assist callers as calls are presented for appropriate call handling to the Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist. -Receive inbound calls to assist Members/potential Members with Recertification/ New Applications and handles agentrelations issues as they arise. -Inbound Call Center Health Plan Specialist contributes to the abandonment rate by maximizing their availability toservice inbound calls. A low abandonment rate contributes to member satisfaction as it lowers the rate of repeat calls due to prolonged queue hold times. Qualifications:1 year experience in Medicaid and CHIP, Health insurance, experience with nonprofit organization assisting low income population or customer service related, call center experience
