Assembler    

Long-Term Contract

Pay Rate: $15 / hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Location: Plano, TX

World-wide electronics manufacturing company in the Plano, TX area is looking for an experienced industrial Assembler to join their team.  This is a long-term contract opportunity.  

Responsibilities:

• Assemble products as required by shop Operational instructions.
• Inspect parts and products during assembly/manufacturing process.
• Report any product/parts issues from assembly line.
• Manufacture company products as required via shop orders.
• Perform other departmental duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of previous assembly experience required.
• Experience reading and understanding drawings a plus.
• Related experience working in a manufacturing, sheet metal, paint line environment.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Ensure proper quality requirements are met.
• Positive attitude and teaming 
• This position requires physical requirements include standing, bending, hand dexterity, seeing distinguishing colors and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
• Wear personal protective equipment, when required.
